Ah a fitting tribute!

Have you exhibited in Japan at all?
Eventually, I want to get to Tokyo.

The stark angularity of the figure, as you have rendered it is indicative of one who has become hardened to life after successive fractures and
re-assemblages... as though the emotional strain has begun to manifest in the chiseled outer appearance.

I also enjoy the color choice, and the contrast of texture between the background and the circle form pattern that comprises the body or clothes of the figure.

that painting is 16"x20" and it took forever to do those few dots. i can't imagine doing 16'x20' like she'd do!

very nice. the choice of color blends surprisingly well. of course i'm a black and white guy so most stuff surprises me i guess... anyways, this reminds me of another artist i can't put my finger on...
