its quite hard to remain fluent, you have to sign all the time.
if you dont sign often enough you forget quickly which sign is for what, exept the easy ones
i learned american signs a long time ago, the exam was i had to sign twenty minutes
before the examcommitee. the dutch signs are quite different. my parents are from a time it was forbidden to sign at all, people may not see that you're different. so the fluentness has gone. pity!
