Remember the story of Duchamp's Large Glass, when the installers dropped it and broke the glass? Duchamp loved the result, saying that the cracks united the top and bottom halves, making it look finished. I confess I agree with Duchamp! Often such accidents are happy ones!......Hey, nice that the post office took the time to tape it back together....it actually shows a sign of respect....generally they wouldn't bother. This Post Card art you are doing is a great idea by the way,.....my bet is that someday they'll be worth a fortune!!!
