On Sunday's part of GG park is closed to automobiles and people on bikes, skateboards, and "Chevrolegs" come out in droves. I've been out there on as many Sunday's as possible and it is really nice.
If any of you in dA land come visit me make sure to bring a bike. You can get around the city much easier and faster than by car...not to mention it's just a lot nicer!

The park is beautiful, in a beautiful place... you've captured it enchantingly, and as an aside piqued my level of homesickness. Great one, here!

hi... not from SF, but grew up in Ventura, and in my 20 yrs in the Navy, was stationed at Monterey for 3 years, and Moffett Field for 4 years, and my aunt lives in SF... it has been one of the great places I have been in various travels and such
